Tepezza Status Update: February 2023

• Tepezza litigation is expected to grow significantly throughout 2023 as individuals learn more about the undisclosed Tepezza hearing risks. •  Lawsuits are now being filed nationally by individuals who have been left with permanent hearing problems after receiving Tepezza infusions for the treatment of thyroid eye disease (T.E.D.) and Grave’s disease.
• Studies and case reports have found that side effects of Tepezza exponentially increases the risk of hearing loss and Tinnitus.
• Since the introduction of Tepezza infusion therapy in 2020 there are increasing reports of hearing related problems. The loss of hearing and tinnitus was known by Horizon prior to introduction of the drug, but in placing profits before safety, they failed to include an appropriate warning to allow those potentially harmed to make an informed choice.
